MetaLogics was founded in June 2008 with a mission to create the world’s most accurate, affordable and easy-to-use caloric monitoring system. With over 60% of our adult population now overweight or obese, new tools and approaches are a critical need to combat this growing epidemic. Mr. Dykstra has 30 years of broad business experience and has served the past ten years as the Chief Operating Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of Humanetics Corporation, a nutritional products and pharmaceutical company. While at Humanetics, Mr. Dykstra was instrumental in the development and launch of the Company’s flagship product, which is a clinically-validated compound used in diet products. He has significant experience developing, selling and marketing science-based products to diet program and product companies.

Dr. Hill is a recognized and respected world expert in the field of weight management and obesity. He is a Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at the University of Colorado Denver and the current Director of the Center for Human Nutrition. Dr. Hill is the most recent past President of the American Society for Nutrition and a Past President of the Obesity Society. He served as Chair of the first World Health Organization Consultation on Obesity. Dr. Hill is a cofounder of the National Weight Control Registry and America on the Move, a national weight gain prevention initiative that aims to inspire Americans to make small changes in diet and physical activity.

Scott Danielson is a strategist and designer who has a rich history of creating high-impact customer experiences worldwide. Scott’s professional background includes Fortune 25 executive management, BBC documentary filmmaker, award-winning creative director, user-experience design pioneer, and Internet-entrepreneur. His formal education includes NYU-Film, Syracuse-Newhouse School, Wharton-Advanced Mgmt, Universite Paris Sorbonne, and Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam. With more than 20 years experience designing, developing and launching brands and branded experiences, Scott Danielson has led customer-focused initiatives for AOL, IBM, ESPN, NBC, HBO, Microsoft, PBS, QVC, TNTAsia, AARPHealth, and UnitedHealth Group. Scott’s knack for transforming obstacles into solutions, concepts into reality, and investments into returns has earned him wide recognition including more than 100 professional awards.
